Apple Releases iOS 11.2.6 to Fix Telugu Symbol Bug

Last week a new bug was made public in iOS that affected all those users who received a message with the Telugu symbol. It didn't matter how that symbol was received, the device started to work erratically, closed applications, restarted every time we accessed the control center or performed any task on a regular basis.

According to Apple, this error was not new since I had evidence of him and in theory it had corrected it in previous versions of iOS, at least in the betas, but it has been forced to launch it earlier than expected due to the large number of unscrupulous who have dedicated themselves this past weekend to sharing this shape symbol massive which has ended up ruining many iPhones.

But it seems that this bug was not only available on iOS, but it was also available on both tvOS, watchOS and macOS, which has forced Apple to launch respective updates so that these devices are not affected if they receive the happy symbol. If unfortunately we did not see this bug affected, the only way was restore a previous backup, as long as the one we had and was recent, since otherwise, we would lose all the information available in our terminal from the date.

The guys from Cupertino have taken advantage of the launch of this update to solve an error that some applications presented when connecting with external accessories. If you have not yet been affected by a funny person who has sent you this symbol, it is already taking time to update your device, through the available update, since its size varies between 30 MB and 200 MB, so it does not It will take much longer than necessary.

Since I bought the iPhone X, will there have been about 3 updates? I'm not really sure if this is the fourth and I don't know if it's the only one or if there are more people with the same problem as me ,,,, from the first weeks until now the iPhone restarts without reason black screen, the figure of something like loading and restarting is somewhat annoying because sometimes you are doing something and it shuts down and no update has fixed this ‍♂️

When you took the iPhone X did you configure it with the backup of some previous iPhone? If so, restore without backup. The only bad thing is that you will have to install the apps again but the photos, music and other data are stored in iCloud so they will be restored again. It may be that you drag a failure of the previous mobile.

It can also be a hardware failure ... I would go to an apple store to have it checked and changed, if you say that you have already restored them on several occasions and that you still have the problem, they will change it

Hello, good afternoon, the bug has been sent to me by WhatsApp and my mobile has been completely blocked, the apple comes out all the time and it cannot be restarted. What I can do? Thank you very much in advance

I read somewhere a user that what he did was:

      - Boot the iPhone into safe mode (I'm not sure how to do it, I think it refers to doing a total reset and that depends on each model, in some it was pressing the power button and the volume up key at the same time, until the apple appears; in others such as the 8/8 Plus by quickly pressing, in this order, the volume up, volume down and power keys, keeping the latter pressed until the apple appears again).
      - Put it in airplane mode as soon as it starts so that it does not connect to the Internet.
      - From settings, go to the applications that are causing the problem and temporarily disable their notifications.
      - From settings again, update to iOS 11.2.6.
      - Re-enable the notifications of the applications that caused the problem from settings.

And I think that was it. Greetings

Well, my problem with the iPhone X is that once it is at 1% or is hot (shitting or not charging) the phone starts to lag very brutal (it gets very slow), I have to put it on the fan until it responds better . I hadn't restored it because here in Puerto Rico I was without power due to two hurricanes until the other days, but is it programming or is it hardware? What do you think?

Greetings!!! I am also from Puerto Rico, what you have to do is restore your phone and not use any Backup copy. Set up as new iPhone. I assure you that you will not have a problem. I also have an iPhone X.

I am waiting for the internet to reach me to download the iOS.
But the funny thing is that I have never connected it to the computer, so this is how the phone came: $
