A week ago Apple introduced its entire new range of new products, including Air Tag or the new and redesigned iMac. The version was also officially launched and for all users iOS 14.5, which had been in beta for several months. Great news came with this version such as the possibility of unlocking the iPhone with the Apple Watch or the arrival of the App Tracking Transparency system. A week later, iOS 14.5.1 has been released by surprise, with a better one in relation to the new privacy system of the Big Apple that gave many users problems.
iOS 14.5.1 is released by surprise with improvements in the App Tracking Transparency
This update fixes an issue with App Tracking Transparency where some users who previously disabled the option may not receive notifications from the apps after re-enabling it. This update also provides important security updates and is recommended for all users.
As we have been counting since the beginning of the article, Apple has decided to launch iOS 14.5.1 for iOS 14 compatible devices and also iOS 12.5.3 for those devices that could not install the new versions. Both share improvements in system security and device performance.
In addition, iOS 14.5.1 introduces a solution to a bug related to the App Tracking Transparency system, a new system that allows the user to manage which apps allow users and their data to be tracked. However, many users were unable to configure the system once they disabled it for the first time. This has been fixed in iOS 14.5.1.
The version is now available and can be updated through the device itself using Wi-Fi updates o through iTunes. Apple recommends installing the update for all users on all their devices.
