This is the list of improvements than iOS 7.1.2 provides:
- Improves iBeacon connectivity and stability.
- Fixes a bug with data transfer via third party accessories, including barcode scanners.
- Addresses a security issue with email attachments.
This latest vulnerability was exposed a few weeks ago by a security expert and Apple admitted the failure by not encrypting the attachments in users' emails. That will no longer happen from iOS 7.1.2, an update that, as you can see, is minor.
It is a necessary version to correct small bugs and improve the stability of the operating system, but we do not believe that Apple will launch another version of iOS 7, since the company is involved, one hundred percent, in the iOS 8 development (The third beta should see the light this week among the developer community).
