Today is the day. Apple has released iOS 8.4 with the main novelty of a redesigned Music application which somewhat resembles iTunes for computer. Much fewer tabs, simpler menus, and Apple Music compatibility, a service that will begin to be available within an hour. When Apple Music is released we will have 24/7 World Radio, iTunes Match, Custom Radios based on artists / songs / styles, Connect and around 38 million songs to stream online or offline (offline listening will be available while we are subscribed - or during the trial version-)
In a few hours a new version of iTunes is expected to be released, version that will be necessary to be able to enjoy Apple Music. The new version of iTunes will be available, as always, for Mac and Windows from your official page and, for Mac, from the Mac App Store.
In addition to small bug fixes and performance improvements. the following new features have been included:

New Music app icon
The icon has changed from being a red background with a white musical note to having a white background and a colored note. If I'm honest, I had to look for it on the Springboard and I have come to think that it was inside iTunes - that I had seen it. From my point of view, it is more beautiful than the previous one, but it is all a matter of taste.
Welcome screen
This welcome screen has come out the first two or three times that I have opened the Music application. Now I don't get it anymore. I do not know why, but it could be that it was seen until we subscribed. Since I am already with the trial version, I can no longer confirm it.
Radio
- Here we have to distinguish between Beats 1, broadcasters and custom stations. Beats 1 are three different live radio stations in which a DJ will play in each one and from a different city, one of them in Europe (London).
- Below Beats 1 we have, for example, a Pop station, where we can hear Pop songs (we are not going to hear opera, of course). These stations are no longer live. The songs are those chosen by the team of music specialists to sound when we choose these stations.
- Then we have the custom stations like the one in the capture. There we can make a station from a song or an artist. This is my favorite part of Apple Music and one that I have been waiting for since I tried iTunes Radio two years ago. It is important for me to remember that the good thing about these Apple custom radios is that they match better between styles of music than their rivals. If you are people who like pop, then there is a lot of pop music and it is easy to relate to it, but for people who like the most brutal styles of Metal, that we mix Death Metal with Nu Metal is frustrating.
For you
This option I think is for subscribers. According to our preferences, we will be shown songs and artists that may interest us. The thing about the balls in the upper image is to choose our favorite artists. I still have to give it a review because I have chosen some that, although I like them, they are not my favorites. And, from what I have been able to prove, the "balls" are not unlimited. I really have to make room for my favorite bands.
If we keep our finger on an artist, we will get a countdown to eliminate the artist. That artist will not be suggested again.
Connect
It will be a kind of twitter, but dedicated to music. It is a new attempt by Ping, but this one looks very good and from the beginning you can see artists publishing. But I think the artists still need to give it movement. At the moment, there are very few photos and what I have seen the most is of the Foo Fighters singer, Tim Cook's friend.

You may have trouble downloading the update. It marks about 15m for me (since 5m already) and it is only 222mb. It is something that usual in the first hours in which a new version is available, but now These problems could be accentuated in a launch like today's because this new version is mandatory to be able to enjoy something new, which is Apple Music.

After trying Apple Music, I'm sticking with Spotify for now. Apple Music is not configurable at all. You cannot choose the quality of the music in order to save on your data rate.
