Apple releases iOS 9.2.1. Will they launch the jailbreak now?

iOS 9.2.1

Apple has released iOS 9.2.1 a few minutes ago for all iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad compatible with iOS 9. The update is now available via OTA (Over The Air) and should appear at any time also in iTunes. We remind you that in order to install this version, like any other, you must have at least 50% battery in the device or have it connected to a power outlet (something that some recommend doing at the same time).

This release arrives just six weeks later from the iOS 9.2 release, which we recall brought new languages to Siri and improvements to Safari Control Viewer, which improves the use of third-party Safari apps. In addition, from iOS 9.2 you can also export photos from the iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad using a Lightning to USB adapter.

iOS 9.2.1 without notable news

With respect to the version that has been released today and as seen in the betas, iOS 9.2.1 does not arrive with no outstanding news, beyond correcting errors, improving the reliability and stability of the system and including some security improvement. If you are experiencing any performance issues, its installation is recommended. If you are waiting for a jailbreak, although iOS 9.2.1 has been shown to be vulnerable, it is best to wait until further notice.

iOS 9.3, of which the first beta has already been launched for both developers and public, will come with a good handful of important news, such as Night Shift, improvements in education or the possibility of protecting notes with a password or Touch ID, among others. Taking into account that the next version of iOS is also vulnerable to jailbreak and is a version with notable new features, it is possible that hackers will wait for its public release to launch the next jailbreak, so we have no choice but to continue having patience.

    should wait for ios 9.3

    1.    Alfonso R. said

Or to iOS 9.3.1 or to iOS 9.3.2 and already put better why not wait for iOS 9.4 or even iOS 10 ???

Let's see, a long time ago, when version updates were let's say "normal", that is, quite separated in time, it made all sense to wait but now it doesn't. In fact, it seems that this is what Apple plays. They release a version and are already with the beta of the next one (even publicly), that is, it seems like a never-ending story. If they do not take the jail out now (if it is still valid, of course) by waiting as you say iOS 9.3, you can be completely sure that when iOS 9.3 is officially released, iOS 9.3.1 and iOS 9.3.2 will already be in beta. because it is what Apple is doing lately.

I sincerely believe that Apple has chosen this path to make the jail as difficult as possible. I vote because they take it out at once. Yes, this version of iOS will have a little problem that is supposed to be solved in the next version and the next one will have another and so on to infinity. Meanwhile, users of jail without jail to keep waiting and Apple closing the holes that hackers show every time they have a chance without officially launching the jail.

I said that myself, what is going to happen with the ios 10 is apple does it on purpose, but I very much agree with you

  3.   Arta already said

Until our noses of waiting for the fucking jaibreak
    Get it out at once.
At this rate they won't even take it out because that's what Apple is doing so much to get betas in a row so that they never take it out

  4.   Lenin said

The betas and the jailbreak pissed off we are all pissed off.

I'm also already black from waiting for the jailbreak, what has become clear to me is that I will never buy an iPhone again, what a mistake, with how happy I was with my Samsung that I could even connect it to the toaster. Apple NEVER AGAIN!

Mobile data and it still does not appear but the phone has an internet connection, when I go to settings it appears that it is connected but in the
Status bar no, what's wrong with Apple?

Out of curiosity, did you install it via OTA or via iTunes? ...

That is why I am sitting and had jailbreak since 1.1 I had the 1st jailbreak and an iPhone without jailbreak I do not like. But switch to Samsung that Never. It's like changing teams because I don't like the players.

The truth is I only buy an iPhone for two things
      1 the jailbreak
      2 are less devalued
But it already has me until… .. that they force me to have an ios that I don't like and that I can't modify anything to my liking.

It is easy to criticize that why they do not remove the JB, that I am fed up even with me but since I cannot do the JB on my own so for now we have to wait, if they take it out now for iOS 9.2 they will close the security gaps and the work done to get it out for iOS 9.3 is going to waste.
The most logical thing is to wait for the official iOS 9.3 to come out, which is the most sensible thing to do, even if the wait is longer.

  9.   Juan Carlos said

Of course, if what ethics to wait remember that the jail is free and when you buy an iPhone it is not a guarantee that you have the jail available so nimodo stop crying and waiting.

That is not to say, what the hell do those who manage to do the Jail play and do not offer it publicly. Come on, it's regrettable. If you already have it and you have achieved it ... hell, offer it under your identity so that everyone knows who has taken it. Luckily I still have iOS 9.02 but I don't think I would have an iPhone. For me, an iPhone without Jial is not an iPhone, sorry.

Well I updated my IPhone 4s and my iPad 3 and they are more fluent with iOS 9.2 they were very slow. With iOS 9.2.1 they are more fluid and no longer stick. At least it helped me to update. Hopefully iOS 9.3 doesn't hurt this fluidity.

  13.   Albin said

I think they should launch it now and stop the fear that the exploits used will close, anyway they will close it one day. Keep working to discover new exploits.

This update fixed a bug with the touch id failing a lot in 9.2

    1.    rafael said

Yes, I think so too, before when unlocking it sometimes failed me and if Siri did not enter instead of unlocking the iPhone

      1.    Junior said

If so, thank you, it has already been fixed

PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT THAT EASY ABOVE HAVING COMPLICATIONS WITH UPDATES DOING A JAILBREAK IS NOT THAT SIMPLE DO IT BY YOU IF YOU ARE SO FUCKING IMPATIENT.

  17.   Jose said

I'm going to wait for whatever it takes, what I do know is that I'll never update again without a jailbreak in the next version.

  18.   Fede said

The same thing that my dear Jose said, I will never update an ios again without having a jailbreak ready, even though my iPhone is on a pedal.

I have little with this iPhone but the system is the fastest I have tried but I do not like that that things cannot be downloaded. So much trouble do iPhones do for that? I prefer Nokia even though it's already a thing of the past
