Apple launches new betas of iOS and iPadOS 13.1

iOS 13

We are 24 hours away from the launch of the final version of iOS 13.0, already available as of tomorrow for all users, and Apple has just released the fourth Beta of iOS 13.1, in addition to the corresponding one for iPadOS. At the moment only available for developers, it may be the last beta of this version that will arrive on September 30 to the whole world.

With iOS 13.1 will arrive some of the features that Apple announced for iOS 13 but that will not arrive with the first version that is released tomorrow, such as the automations of Shortcuts or being able to share the arrival at our destination in the Maps application, as well as new volume icons or in the Home application.

Tomorrow at this time iOS 13.0 will be available, the new big update that has been in the development phase for months and available to users with a developer account or enrolled in the Apple Betas program. Dark mode, a comprehensive "overhaul" of CarPlay, changes to the Photos application and access to new Apple services, Apple TV + and Apple Arcade, are some of the new features included in this new version. But iPad users will have to wait, because as of this year the iPad software is being separated from iOS, calling itself iPadOS., and will not arrive until September 30 to Apple tablets.

Tomorrow day 19 will also arrive the updates to watchOS 6 for the Apple Watch Series 3 and 4, while for the older models, Series 1 and 2, we do not have a specific release date. Starting tomorrow you will also be able to access Apple Arcade, Apple's flat rate for its video games, a service that those of us in the iOS 13 Betas can already access, both on iPhone and iPad.
