Continuing with the betas, the guys from Cupertino have re-launched a new beta, this time the third beta for watchOS 3.1.1 developers. Like the third beta that Apple released of iOS 10.2, this new version focuses on improving the operation of the latest functions that Apple will include in the final version of this new operating system update for the Apple Watch. As we informed you at the launch of the first beta of this update, Apple adds support for the new emojis released by the Unicode consortium in its ninth version, as well as the ability to allow the color of the skin in some characters that were not available until now.
Unlike iOS 10.2, watchOS 3.1.1 is a minor update that focuses on improving the performance and function of the Apple Watch. watchOS 3.0 was launched in September and whose main feature is the fluidity and speed with which applications now open, a much improved speed compared to version 2.0 of watchOS. The first major update of watchOS, 3.1 was launched last October and whose main novelty is the incredible improvement in the battery, an improvement that practically allows you to enjoy the Apple Watch for practically two days.
watchOS 3.1.1 is compatible with all Apple Watch models, both the first generation and the new models that hit the market last October, the Series 1 and Series 2, a model that brings us as its main novelty the inclusion of a GPS chip and water resistance, which allows us to use the Apple Watch to swim and monitor the exercise we do while swimming. The watchOS 3.1.1 update is scheduled to hit the market in December in its final version and will probably come with iOS 10.2, an iOS version that is currently also in beta.
