And it is that we have already been talking about this novelty in Apple payments for the devices of the Cupertino firm for several days, and in the latest version of iOS 11.2 the option of use Apple Pay Cash. In this case, it's up to the company's smart watch to receive support for its use.
In addition to this novelty, the typical bug fixes, improvements in system stability and security improvements are also added, but in the list of implemented novelties other improvements appear that are important to highlight.
These are the news in watchOS 4.2
In addition to the main novelty of Apple Pay Cash, this new version adds a News list and improvements for the Apple watch:
- It becomes compatible for the use of HomeKit sprinklers and faucets in the Home app
- Adds support for a new type of training from third-party apps to record distances, average speed, series and unevenness on the Apple Watch Series 3
- Fixes a reboot issue when asking Siri about the weather
- Fixes an issue that prevented scrolling within the Heart Rate app
- Fixes a bug that did not allow to independently close multiple alarms or timers ringing at the same time
The truth is that this new watchOS 4.2 version is mainly launched for users who use Apple Pay and, incidentally, Pay Cash, but it is clear that since it is "restricted use" for the United States, we can only look at the rest of the improvements and wait for this great payment option to arrive for users from other countries. Remember that to update the Apple Watch we have to have the latest version of iOS on our iPhone, access the application Watch> General> Software update and have 50% battery on the clock.
I just updated and "hey siri" doesn't work.
Anyone else with the same problem?
