Apple stops signing iOS 11.2.5

On February 19, the guys from Cupertino released the final version, without previous betas, of iOS 11.2.6, a version that was forced to release due to the problems that the Indian Telugu character it was causing a large number of devices to crash and sometimes stop working altogether.

The previous weekend, social networks had been abuzz with users with very bad milk who shared this character left and right, which caused the Apples Store to run wildEven more, in case they did not have enough with the battery replacement program that Apple has open for 29 euros for all devices that do not pass the battery test.

10 days after the release of the final version of iOS 11.2.6, the guys from Cupertino have stopped signing the previous version, iOS 11.2.5, a version that was released on January 23 and that has been available until yesterday to install, although logically it was not recommended if we did not want the Telugu character to do its thing on our device and we were forced to go to a Official Apple Store or having to restore our device from scratch.

In this way, the only version of iOS that is currently available to all users who restore their device is number 11.2.6, since at the moment and despite the large number of rumors that pointed to the launch of iOS 11.3, this new version has not reached the market.

Initially, 11.3 fixed the problem that the Telugu character offers on all devices managed with a version equal to or earlier than iOS 11.2.5. It finally seems that iOS 11.2.6 has ruined planning that Apple had for its betas, so it is likely that we will have to wait another week to enjoy the news it offers us.
