Since Apple launched Apple Maps to compete with Google Maps, this has been improving little by little in terms of new features. In the beginning, it was harshly criticized for the app's malfunction, but by incorporating these new features, it has managed to win the affection of many of those who initially criticized it.

One of these new features has been discovered after using the iOS 10 beta and it is none other than finding where you have parked your car. As you can see in the following screenshot, Apple Maps tells you where your car is parked in relation to your real position.

Apple hasn't given many details about it yet so we can't really know how this new Apple Maps feature works. It seems that iOS 10 will locate you after a "long" trip and will locate that position as the place where you have parked your car. We assume that this car park must have special location permissions in the settings so that you can choose whether or not your device locates you continuously.

Once you have parked, a notification is displayed informing you that your car has been parked and located on the map. Apple Maps will add this location to recommended destinations so that we have faster access in the future.

The Apple maps application has been one of the points in which Apple has made a lot of emphasis on improving with its new operating system. In iOS 10 it will have a new design, a quick menu in which are the settings and the possibility of seeing the POIs (Points of Interest), an improvement in the search for directions and, as Google Maps already had, with the traffic present on the chosen route.

Apple Maps is becoming a true alternative to Google Maps for everyday use.
