When Apple Music officially launched last summer, many users who owned a Sonos device received the bad news that their speakers would not be compatible with Apple's streaming music service. This will change this month, since, as promised, the Apple Music compatibility with Sonos it will finally arrive on Tuesday December 15. It will in the form of a Beta that Apple will create expressly for Sonos devices. The final version will arrive in early 2016.
Any interested party has to be registered en sonos.com, something that can be done from the web or from the application Sonos controller which is available for free on the App Store. If you do it from the application, you have to go to Settings and then to Advanced settings. You will have to select and join the beta program by Sonos. As soon as an update becomes available, users participating in your beta program will be notified from within the application itself.
When the time comes, Sonos users will be able to listen to all the music from Apple Music on their devices, as long as they subscribe to one of the payment methods, which we remember is the individual one with a price of € 9,99 / month and the family one, is priced at € 14,99 / month. Without subscription, only Beats 24 radio is available 7/1.
