Since its launch in the United States last year, Apple has been expanding the support of financial institutions and banks to be able to allow your customers to pay using the iPhone. It is scheduled to arrive in Spain, Singapore and Hong Kong soon with American Express.
Apple has had no choice but to partner with card issuer American Express in order to speed up the arrival to other countries, mainly due to the problems it is facing with the banks, which do not want to distribute the commission they charge to merchants, for allowing the payment of their merchandise through credit cards.
At the beginning of next year, Apple Pay will not only reach Spain, Singapore and Hong Kong, but also China, one of its main customers, where it has reached an agreement with the large banks to to be able to offer this new electronic payment service in the country.
