To try to continue promoting and encouraging the use of Apple Pay in the United States and the United Kingdom, the Apple Stores in both countries They have launched a new promotion for all those users who sign up for the service this week.
Throughout this week, users visiting an Apple Store in the United States and United Kingdom will be asked if they use Apple Pay. If the store employees are not users they will offer to sign up for the service and enter your credit cards to be able to make payments in the different businesses where it is available today.
But also if these users agree to register, will receive a five dollar or five pound iTunes card just to configure the service, even if they do not use it finally. This iTunes gift card allows users to purchase any product from the stores. If any user decides to return the purchase, within the established period of time, with which they received the gift card of five dollars or pounds, the iTunes gift card will remain in their possession for having configured Apple Pay.
This promotion is launched one day after the announcement of the arrival of Apple Pay in France, so It is currently available in eight countries: United States, United Kingdom, China, Australia, Canada, Switzerland, Singapore and now France. The next countries to receive this form of payments should be Spain (although it seems unlikely) and Hong Kong.
