Apple publishes the AirPort Utility app

It had been rumored since the first beta of iOS 5 and, as of today, the AirPort Utility application for iOS devices is already a reality.

This application allows us to manage our WI-FI network and AirPort stations (AirPort Express, AirPort Extreme and Time Machine) directly from the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. Here is the list of features included in the application:

  • Consult a graph of your WI-FI networks
  • Get information about the WI-FI devices you have connected.
  • Check and modify network and WI-FI settings.
  • Reboot or restore a base station, or install firmware updates if available.
  • Check or update the passwords for your network, base stations or hard drives.
  • Easily access network information such as IP addresses, DNS servers, and router addresses.
  • Manages DHCP reservations and port map.
  • Check status or error messages from all your base stations.

AirPort Utility is a free application that you can download by clicking on the following link.

Also, I have seen that we already have the songs available in iCloud: I mean to be able to download our previous purchases! (Spain), but there it is!

Sorry for putting you off. But that has never been said would not be available. What is not available in Spain is iTunes match.
