Apple releases iOS 15.6.1 to fix major security flaws

Despite the fact that everyone is already waiting for iOS 16 and the new releases, Apple has just released a major update that fixes a serious security flaw on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

At this point in the summer, all the news is about the next iPhone, the new Apple Watch, when the new iPad will be released, and when iOS 16 will arrive. But we can't forget about the present, and luckily Apple doesn't, so They just released a major update. And it is that all the updates are important, even if they do not have news in view of the user, but even more so when they tell you that they are fixes not one but two vulnerabilities that in addition to being discovered could already be used to execute malicious code on our devices.

This major security flaw is only present on devices running iOS 15, so if your iPhone or iPad was left out of this update, don't worry. But if you updated to this version that will soon be a year old, you should immediately update to version 15.6.1 of iOS and iPadOS so that no one can use those bugs on your devices. The update has also been released to macOS Monterey 12.5.1 to fix these same bugs on Mac computers, and watchOS 8.7.1 which fixes an issue that caused some Apple Watch Series 3 models to restart unexpectedly.
