When Apple presented its fiscal balance for the last quarter of 2015, Tim Cook was asked what he thought about the Virtual Reality (VR). The answer was expected to be something like this is something temporary or unimportant, but the CEO of Apple said it was something interesting. Rumors soon began to emerge that Cook likes virtual reality and that his company would create a product that included this technology, rumors that are also based on acquisitions or contacts with other companies by the Cupertino company. The last thing we can take as a clue is that now View-Master glasses are sold in Apple Stores.
But make no mistake. These glasses are not like the ones that Microsoft or Samsung have created, no. This is more of a kind of case designed to put an iPhone inside. As you can see in the image, there are some applications that can display two images at the same time. This, together with the View-Master, will make us see the images in a different way, which at times will be very similar to the Virtual Reality offered by other equipment. It's pretty much the same as the Google Cardboard, but with a better design and more expensive, of course.
The problem is that I have not found the View-Master in the Spanish Apple Store, so, if you want it, it is best to look at Amazon. In my opinion, Apple has only made this move to have a minimal presence in the field of Virtual Reality. Without a doubt, the really interesting thing will come with the apple as a logo in the not too distant future.
