Apple begins testing a Lexus autonomous car in California

Much has been made of the real possibilities that Apple got into the automotive business creating a autonomous vehicle. And is that the technological future passes through 100% autonomy, that is, stop worrying about anything and that the machines work for us, does it sound like a movie, right? Some rumors that have been feeding by hiring and firings that have been made at the block headquarters.

The story was that Apple could have decided to take advantage of other expert automobile companies, that is, manufacturers, to design only the technology that they carry to function autonomously, something much more logical ... And it seems that the path of device development and technology to make a car work only continues on its way, and it is that a few days ago it has been possible to see in the city of California what seems to be a Lexus powered by Apple to run autonomously, that is, the one that could be the Apple's first autonomous car...

As you can see in the previous images, Apple would be using a Lexus RX450h SUV to test your own self-driving technology. A vehicle that is obviously equipped with a multitude of sensors including a Velodyne Lidar's 64-channel lidar, two radars, and multiple cameras. Devices that appear to be from other companies that are also participating in the project and therefore Apple could only handle the software that runs the system.

You see, the future passes through automatic driving, not only Apple is focusing efforts on this, Google is also very interested in these possibilities, so we only have to wait a couple of years (I don't think it will take long to perfect it) to be able to see all the news from these technology companies regarding autonomous driving.
