Apple stops signing iOS 8.4.1 and 9.0

Last Saturday I published an article in which I reported on the TaiG Guys Plans to Release a Jailbreak for iOS 8.4.1. I quickly ran to download that firmware version to downgrade from iOS 9.0.1 and be able to enjoy the Jailbreak again and abandon (until they fix it) the said lag every time I open the iOS Spotlight search engine. But before leaving iOS 9.0.1 I thought about the tweaks that are currently compatible with iOS 8.4 and that surely will also be compatible with iOS 8.4.1. If it is true that there are many goods, they are not all what they should be (some of the ones I use the most are missing) and I highly doubt that the developer will bother to make them compatible with a version of iOS that Apple stopped signing several weeks ago.

After making this reflection, I decided to stick with the latest version of iOS 9, despite the lags, and completely abandon any possibility of jailbreaking my device at least for now. If any of you thought like me, but you have already done the downgrade, inform you that It is now possible for us to do so, since a few hours ago Apple stopped signing iOS 8.4.1 and iOS 9.0 So it is no longer possible to go back to iOS 8 and take advantage of the possible Jailbreak that the guys at TaiG may launch in the coming days or weeks. Just last night when we were recording the Actualidad iPad podcast, I found that at that time it was still possible to downgrade, but a few hours later Apple stopped signing it.

Although some users continue to have problems when updating to iOS 9, with crashes on the home screen without being able to continue with the installation, Apple has decided not to allow users who have problems with their devices to revert to a previous version of iOS. The adoption of iOS 9 has been very fast, since in just one week 50% of the compatible devices had already been updated. This rapid adoption has been due to Apple's promise to improve performance on older devices, but that improvement has been just that, a promise that has ultimately failed to translate into more optimized performance.

A shame . They stop iOS 8 signatures as if iOS 9 were stable ... On an iPad 3 it is a real garbage, slow, rough, with lags, bugs, terrible performance, does not load safari well, insufferable .... Good thing it was performance! It is a shame . To have all these types of failures, I buy an Android that is cheaper for me and has the same operation. I do not want to show off an apple or be cool, I want a device with impeccable performance and operation, for that I pay quality.

The same thing happens to you. I do not buy to show off the apple, I look for quality and good performance and this latest version of iOS works like the ass and there is no improvement in the quality of operation in the old devices. In fact, it works exactly the same as iOS 8.4.1 in which some performance was improved, on an iPhone 4s.
They say that the first major update of iOS, 9.1 solves the happy lag that I am suffering in the iPhone 6 Plus in an incomprehensible way. Let's see if the performance problems of the rest of the devices are solved in the process.

      Hi Xavi.
From all this you will have to draw the conclusion. Do not update until you see its practical consequences. As much as Apple says, telling us all its benefits that are not true, up to two or three later updates. A fat scam.
I tell you all this because I have an iPad 3 GSM, like yours, which works great for me. With its corresponding Jailbreak. But sure I'm on iOS 8.4
Xavi, I have found myself in your situation several times, in previous versions. But I've learned from the bumps. Do not update or restore until they give it to me very clearly.
      Greetings from Barakaldo.

I have an iPhone 6 plus on ios 9.0.2 and everything is going well, much better than on ios 8.4 that ate the battery. I have not noticed lag, I have not had problems with the Wi-Fi connection or anything. The only problem has been the hotspot that disappeared after restoring and in my plan I have a hotspot. I've done everything and I'm still without hotsopot :(

I do not like at all that Apple imposes on me that I have to install iOS, both Windows mobile and Android do not put any type of restriction and I can load the one that suits me
