If you have ever been to a physical Apple store, you will have noticed that their philosophy and the way they treat their customers is special. In addition to devices, those from Cupertino want to provide us with experiences and one way to achieve this is for their stores to stop being conventional stores, something for which they have already taken a new step: remove the word "Store" than until now we knew as Apple Stores.
The change has already reached the Apple Stores online, so we will have to start getting used to simply call them "Apple" followed by the name of the store in question. In the case of the Spanish website, its new name is «Apple (Spain)«. In the same way, they will call physical stores, becoming, for example, "Apple Puerta del Sol", "Apple Xanadú" or "Apple La Maquinista".
The Apple Stores are renamed only Apple
The change began to take place after the opening of the last physical Apple stores, like the one in Union Square in San Francisco. From the beginning, that Apple Store was called Apple Union Square and soon after they began updating the web pages of all their stores to eliminate the word Store. Before making the change, Apple sent a circular to employees to announce that the word Store would disappear from its physical and online stores. In that circular, Apple said that the change would be gradual, but at this time we can already see that the majority of Apple Stores online have already seen their surname fall.
Apple's intention seems clear, that customers do not just enter a store. What is not so clear is how the media specialized in apple products will refer to Apple stores, now that it is no longer required to include the word store in English.
I'm going to Apple. (Nothing cool)
