We have been talking about the supposed streaming television service that Apple would be working on and that in theory it should have reached the market by the hand of the new Apple TV. But Apple TV was presented and we did not see news anywhere about the streaming television service, a service that, if it ever does, would cost between $ 30 and $ 40 a month to reach the market, prices very similar to those that can currently be found in the United States.

According to CBS CEO Les Moonves, he stated at a conference held by Business Insider in New York that Apple has halted the project as there has been no way to reach an agreement regarding the price:

Moonves says that Apple and CBS have failed to reach an agreement on the issue of price, which is between $ 30 and $ 40 a month. Failing to reach an agreement, Moonves repeatedly offered $ 35 for the service, but Apple decided to suspend them and reconsider its position.

Last October, Moonves said he was about to close a deal with Apple on Bloomberg TV. If we go back further in time, we find more statements by Moonves in the month of May in which he stated that Apple would be interested in creating a television service via streaming.

On the other hand, Bloomberg states that according to sources related to Apple's future plans, those of Cupertino could abandon the idea of creating a streaming television platform and to sell itself to the same as up to now, to sell subscriptions for the applications it offers on Apple TV.

Since the rumors about Apple's interest in this type of service appeared, many have been the rumors that have surrounded the company, some even stating that Apple would be interested in creating a platform similar to Netflix creating your own content. It should be remembered that Apple had a tough battle with record companies to be able to launch Apple Music and in the end it was successful enough to be a service that has just hit the market.
