Augmented reality is everywhere. An example of this was the well-known Pokemon Go, that was very supported by the big apple and that achieved very important data in the App Store. In the presentation that we are living at WWDC, augmented reality becomes important in iOS 11. Such is the importance that Apple is giving to augmented reality (AR) that it has launched a development kit specific to this booming technology: ARKit. The results may surprise us: the example of the use of the kit has been surprising and a real marvel.
iOS 11 and ARKit: Apple could be the world's largest AR platform
The concept that Apple has transmitted to us of augmented reality is slightly different from what we had until now. It has hinted that there are millions of users with an iDevice, and that the augmented reality has to be available to everyone. So, since we already know what Apple is like for these things, it dedicates a great development kit for developers to bring AR to their applications.
In the test carried out in the keynote we saw how on top of a table deployed a battle with spaceships, it looked like a movie whose playback was functional from whatever angle the iPad was placed on. East Arkite it can give an idea of the course of action that Apple could take in the coming months (perhaps with the iPhone 8 that is just around the corner?).
