Apple to open four Apple Stores in China in January

Apple Store China

Apple has been growing steadily for years and an important reason for this is due to China. The arrival of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s, the first smartphones on the block to abandon 4 inches to adopt larger sizes, was especially positive in a country with so many inhabitants who do not want small phones. Apple knows that the Chinese market is very important for its profits to continue breaking records and that is one of the reasons why they are opening so many Apple Stores in Mandarin territory.

Apple has been marked to reach 40 Apple Stores in China in October. This goal is much closer after announcing that they will open two more in January. In total, by the end of this month there will be 32 Apple Stores in China, four of them open in January 2016. To achieve their goal, they have yet to open eight more brick-and-mortar stores in about ten months.

The first of the two stores they have announced will open on January 16 and will be the second Apple Store in Nanking. It will be located at 100 Zhongshán Highway in Xuanwú District. Also in Nanking, on the East Nanking Highway to be more specific, they opened another of the most important physical Apple stores in China.

This opening will be followed by the opening of the first store in Canton, which is located at 218 Parc Central, on the Tianhé road in the Tianhé district. This second Apple Store will open on January 28.

Guangzhou is the third largest city in China, surpassing 13 million inhabitants in 2014. Nanking It is the second largest city in East China, which 2012 had a population of more than 8 million inhabitants. Apple is opening its physical stores in cities that we could label as strategic or important points. But Apple isn't just focused on opening brick-and-mortar stores in China. The golden color of the iPhone 5s and the increase in size of the iPhone 6 sought to attract the attention of the Chinese, something that they achieved as shown by the latest data.
