AppSync Beta is now compatible with iOS 10

Since the release of the jailbreak for iOS 10, many are the developers who are updating their tweaks to be compatible with the latest version of iOS, although many are taking it very easy. The latest tweak that has been updated to iOS 10 even if it is in beta is AppSync from developer Karen Tsai (angelXwind). This update sfixes a respring problem that many users were experiencing after installing this tweak once the Yalu jailbreak was available. This tweak is available directly through the Karen Tsai repo, so you will have to add it if you want to download it.

What is AppSync?

Many of you, at least those of you who have been jailbreaking for a long time, are well aware of this tweak that allows unsigned .ipa files to be installed on jailbroken devices. Although many users make irresponsible use of this tweak, the main function is to allow the installation of legal applications without using a Mac or Xcode for those applications that for any reason have not passed the filters of the App Store, such as the emulators.

Although there are many users who use it to install paid apps for free, the developer's intention is completely different, and it fits more with what I mentioned in the previous paragraph. Especially also if we talk about old applications that are no longer available in the App Store.

This new version of AppSync offers greater stability with iOS 10 and avoids the crashes that users were suffering from their desire to use AppSync without waiting for an update. On this occasion Tsai has collaborated with the cracker JulioVerne to be able to bypass the new security limitation that allowed to speed up the process of offering false information to the system so that it would sign the applications correctly when we installed them.
