Assassin's Creed Rebellion is a Strategy RPG in which players must meet a Brotherhood of powerful assassins to fight against the Templars and oppression in Spain. This edition features more than 40 characters, some of them legendary while others are brand new.

According to Ubisoft, they have been working on this version for a long time. The first time the first news of this release was confirmed was in June 2017, when Ubisoft showed a small sample that offered a glimpse of its "new artistic direction". Also, according to the developer, Rebellion is totally different from the rest of the titles available in the market today.
