Apple continues to add information about public transport little by little, although in recent months it seems that the company has put the batteries and practically every month it adds new cities with this type of information, which allows users to move around the city without having to use a private vehicle, since Apple Maps offers us all the information on all types of existing public transport in the city in question.

When there are only a few days left for WWDC to take place, next Monday, June 13, Apple has just announced new cities where this type of information is already available. It should be remembered that Apple announced this feature at WWDC last year, and there are currently very few cities scattered around the world.

In the United Kingdom this option was already available but only partially, since the information about railway lines they weren't available, information Apple just added. But not in addition to Apple Maps has also added information about the Atlanta and Miami transit lines. In both cities, both bus routes, metro and tram lines have been added. Apple also appears to have expanded California transportation directions to encompass Santa Cruz, Monterey, Salinas, and other surrounding areas.

Currently the information on public transportation on Apple Maps is in: Austin, Texas; Baltimore, Maryland, Berlin, Boston, Chicago, London, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Montreal, Toronto, New York, Philadelphia, Portland, Rio de Janeiro, Sacramento, San Francisco, Seattle, Sydney, Washington and a dozen cities in China. At the moment European cities don't seem to be a priority for Apple, since we only have this type of information in Berlin and London. Let's see if in the next WWDC Apple announces more compatible cities for the next few months.
