With a week to go until Christmas Day, Apple wanted to give away a role playing game putting it as app of the week. Attack on the prism is an RPG for the youngest of the family (9 to 11 years old) in which we will have to control Steven, Garnet, Pearl and Amethyst. As in any game of this type, the characters will gain experience and become stronger and stronger, but the enemies will not always stay at the initial level either, but stronger and more dangerous rivals will also appear.
As a good game designed for children that it is, controls are very simple: we only have to touch on one of the four protagonists, choose which movement to make and touch on which enemy we want to launch the attack, but we must pay attention because if a star appears on the opponent we will have to touch the screen again to hit the enemy. When we have to defend, we only have to touch the screen of the iPhone, iPod or iPad just before the rival attack hits the character they decide to attack.
Along the way, the protagonists will find chests where they can find objects that will help them recover or gain experience, something very important in any role-playing game. Of the four of the team, Steven is like the doctor and the three girls are the ones who have to fight against the enemies, and boy do they do it.
The graphics of Attack on the prism are very good, but always keeping in mind that it is a game for children. They are good because they look like cartoons like the ones that your relatives of those ages will surely see. The sounds and the soundtrack also make us think that we are watching some of the children's programming. In short, I think children will like this game a lot.
