Auto Location: make your GPS turn on and off automatically (Cydia)

The iPhone 4 turns GPS on and off when an app requires it, but some older devices can't do this, and you have to manually turn it on and off each time you want to use it. With Auto Location you will get the GPS to be activated and deactivated only when an application requests it.

You have no options to configure.

You can download it for free from Cydia.

You need to have done the jailbreak.

A very interesting option, I only see a (big) failure, when you activate the camera, the gps does not automatically activate

Like Dawul, I have an iPhone 4 with 4.2.1 and my GPS does not automatically activate either, the applications always ask me to activate it ...

Some simple utility does not work well for me, as the maps does not manage to activate it automatically, nor do I know if it will be for iOS 4.3.1

    Doesn't it activate you alone?
Well, when I use an app that requires GPS (and I have given it permission), it alone turns on the GPS and when you exit it turns it off, some if you leave them in the background it leaves it on (tomtom, etc)
