AutoSleep launches a new design and compatibility with Siri Shortcuts

Watch 5 it is an operating system coupled with powerful hardware called the Apple Watch. However, a real sleep quantifier that comes standard is sorely missed. It would not be strange if we saw it in watchOS 6, but we also expected it for watchOS 5 and we still have to use third-party applications to quantify our sleep.

One of those applications is AutoSleep, that with a price of around 3,50 euros is an essential app if you want to control the quality of your sleep. Its latest update, the largest, brings with it a new design, a new dark mode and a pleasant and renewed interface.

Quantifying sleep easier and easier with AutoSleep

With AutoSleep, you don't have to do much more than download the application. When we go to sleep, with our Apple Watch on, it will detect that we have done it and will start quantify sleep and its quality. When we wake up, the next morning, we will obtain an exhaustive analysis of how much deep and light sleep we have had, in addition to the average of our pulsations and a efficiency note of our sleep.

Each person is different. AutoSleep has a mode so you can modify if you have moved or rested and you will see how the clock will update automatically. It allows you to configure your own sleep schedule, if you want a daily notification or not, or if you want to see more or less detail.

La version 6.0 it is the largest version released to date by AutoSleep. The update brings with it a new simplified design with a simple interface based on the traffic light. So that everything we see in red will be that we have a deficiency or we have obtained a low score. And if we see it green, the results are correct. Orange will indicate a middle ground between the two previous options.

In addition, it has also been included compatibility with Siri Shortcuts, so we can start playing with this new feature of iOS 12 to take full advantage of the hidden (and not so hidden) functions of AutoSleep. We must remember that even if we do not wear the Apple Watch, AutoSleep has a function to mark the number of hours of sleep asleep to keep a linear record in the application.

On the other hand, a section called Dream Bank, in which the application will tell us if what we have slept on is enough or not. In case of having slept a lot we gain hours of sleep that accumulate. If one day we sleep little, we will pull that reservation and if we are in negative hours, we will be notified by AutoSleep. Based on this idea, they have also included a wellness and sleep hygiene section with which we will be instructed to improve the quality of our sleep with simple, easy-to-follow tips.

There is a lot more news, as it is one of the most important updates of AutoSleep. So, if you want to quantify your sleep with your Apple Watch (with watchOS 3 or higher), this is your application!
