As sometimes happens with updates, in the case of iTunes 11.3.1 you should be careful if you have not previously had problems with podcasts and currently use iTunes as the default service to subscribe and listen to them. In fact, in this new version, this possibility has been eliminated because the application caused a bug that prevented the updating of podcasts on some computers. Therefore, if it was not your case, you may want to wait for the next version of iTunes to ensure that functionality. In case you did not use it for that, update without major problems.
The truth is that I particularly believe that Apple should have tried to fix the bug podcasts before releasing the current update. But sometimes these things happen, and it is best to have the information in advance so as not to be disappointed with the new versions.
