Badge Clearer, remove badges without opening the application (Cydia)

Badge Clearer

One of my hobbies is not having badges on my springboard. Those little red circles that warn us that we have pending notifications are a real nuisance, and many times I don't have time to be able to open all the applications to be able to remove them from my view. I was missing an application that could remove them with a simple tap, and today a new application has appeared in Cydia: Badge Clearer. Available for free on the BigBoss repo, it just does that, remove the badges. When you click on an application, it asks you if you want to remove the red circles (Clear) or open the application (Launch). Something similar offers Springtomize 2, but you have to put the icon in edit mode (shaking) and double-click on it, something almost more annoying than opening the application to remove the red balloon.

After a short time trying it, I see him a bug that they should fix to make it a perfect app: if the application does not have any badge, it keeps asking you. The end result is that every time you want to open an app it takes two taps, and it ends up being a bit cumbersome. For this same reason I think that I will not last long with the installed application, although if they manage to solve it it will undoubtedly be one of the fixed ones on my device, for sure.

By supuesto iOS gives the option of an application never showing these red circles, badges or balloons, whatever you want to call them. For that you can enter the menu Settings> Notifications, select the application you want to "mute" and deactivate the option "Balloons on icons". This option is much more radical, and you should only use it in those applications that you do not want to be shown the little circle under any circumstances, something very useful in games and other types of applications that usually send "useless" notifications. But for specific occasions when you just want to quickly remove badges, I'd better choose the option that Cydia offers me.
