Rumor: iPhone 6s battery replacement program coming to iPhone 6

UPGRADE:Apple Insider ensures have contacted Apple and that the Cupertino have denied this rumor. Below you have the original post.

Before starting I would like to make it very clear what you can already see in the headline: the information you will read in this post is still an unconfirmed rumor. With that explained, when Apple released the battery replacement program For the iPhone 6s, many users of the previous model, the iPhone 6, complained that they were experiencing the same problem, so Apple could be forced to take action.

The main rumor of this post has been published by Macotakara, a Japanese medium that usually makes fairly accurate predictions. The famous medium is also responsible for making it clear from the beginning that the information is just a rumor and does not know more details that can help you imagine if it has something true or not. But what was initially described as a "very small number" of those affected by those in Cupertino has been increasing worryingly, so the team led by Tim Cook would be evaluating the possibility that the holders of an iPhone 6 can also take advantage of a program which was originally released only for the iPhone 6s.

Will iPhone 6 owners be able to change batteries for free?

TAI-certified iPhone 6 battery replacement, if it is finally launched, it should be similar to the one launched for the iPhone 6s: a web page from which we can find out if our iPhone 6 is affected and, if it is, schedule an appointment with an official Apple establishment, an authorized one or a send to one of the two options above.

If the program to replace the iPhone 6 batteries is finally extended, we could be facing a design flaw, since initially only 4.7-inch devices seem affected. Looking at the positive side, we would have that those of Cupertino would take care of the replacement of the batteries of their iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s, not to mention that, at least for now, we can continue to travel by plane with our smartphone.

I have read many comments on the internet about problems with the battery in the iPhone 6, I find it outrageous that Apple passes all of its customers with iPhone 6, surely it will not do it so that people renew their iPhone this year, if they change the battery the same we stayed a couple of years with the iphone 6.

now I comment on my case and it is that I have rarely reached 15% and it has not turned off. There have been cases that it has turned off when it reaches 30% and I have been without a mobile phone for many hours because of that unforeseen event, I do not know if it is my fault, but if so many people have problems with the same it is clear that the iPhone 6 you have a problem and Apple doesn't want to fix it.
I also had the case that I put the iphone to charge the next day it was at 20%! The first thing I thought was that the charger had broken, I looked at it everywhere and when I plugged it in, the iPhone did not respond and the battery icon remained the same, I did a forced restart and when I turned on the battery was 100%. Also other times but few ... it reaches 1% and I used to that it fades between 10-40% did not give credit, because it stayed at 1% for almost half a day enduring like a king. I don't know what Apple has done with the battery of this device but the case is worse than in the 6s, it may be the battery, the same system that forces us to suffer so that we buy a new iPhone, God knows what, but customers cannot be to blame we are too many with the same problem ...

I am the same, I have owned an IPhone 6 for a year or so and it turns off at 30%. I see drum jumps from a 70 to 40 at a time. I hope they launch the battery replacement campaign too

I had that problem and my iPhone was almost 2 years old so I contacted Apple and they changed it as a guarantee without paying anything, so do not hesitate to get in touch if the 2 years have not yet passed.
