Performing the benchmark, an iPhone 6 Plus scored 1606 points in the single core processor test 2891 in the multi-processor test. On the other hand, in low power mode this performance dropped drastically to 1019 points in single core mode and 1751 in the case of multi-processor. Likewise, the results were extraordinarily proportional in the case of the iPhone 5S, which resulted in 1386 in multi-processor and 816 in single core, which in percentage terms is exactly the same as those of the iPhone 6 Plus.
These tests have been carried out on the second beta for iOS 9 developers that was launched a few days ago, however much is expected from this new saving mode and from the system in general, there are many months that still lie ahead to look new and more optimized betas. iOS 9 will offer us to activate the battery saving mode when the iPhone reaches 20% battery, or 10% battery if we refuse to activate it in the first notification.
