Betas in dropper, this time it's the watchOS 4 beta 8.1

WatchOS 6 beta 8 for developers

Apple released beta 4 for developers of watchOS 8.1 a few hours ago. In this new version what is basically offered are bug fixes found in the previous version and stability improvements of the system itself. In these beta versions for developers released in the last hours, what Apple intends is to maintain maximum stability in them to be able to launch the final version in a short time. These final versions for all users will not arrive until possibly the month of January.

Personally, I am not a user who uses beta versions on devices beyond those released for the Mac, I always install them but on an external disk to avoid problems. The option to install these new betas does not tempt me much because of the new features they add, it does not seem that we have too many changes and that is why I see better to wait for the final version. In any case, all those who already have the previous beta version installed on the Apple Watch simply have to update from Apple Watch preferences via OTA and voila, they will already have beta 4 installed.

What we do have to be clear about is that with the beta versions for the Apple Watch we must be very careful since a problem in it could leave our watch completely out of service. The logical thing is that this does not happen since we have been with public beta versions for a long time even on the watch and it seems to work fine, but keep in mind that the betas are trial versions and that they cannot always work 100% both in their functions and in the applications.
