When Apple released iOS 7.1 to users and closed the door of the existing Jailbreak, among the novelties that this new software has, a new graphical aspect of the off slide. With previous versions of iOS 7, the power off slide is a red bar that reads the phrase 'slide to power off', but with iOS 7.1, Apple improved this and added a one-button slide with the power icon and the button with the 'X' at the bottom to cancel the shutdown.
Thanks to Jailbreak, users of versions prior to iOS 7.1 they will be able to enjoy the new visual aspect of off with the tweak BetterPowerDown. And the thing is not there, but BetterPowerDown also allows us to put the shutdown aspect that the previous Apple iOS 6 software had, in this simple way the user can choose the shutdown style that he likes best on his device.
Once downloaded and installed, its configuration is quite simple, in the iOS settings we go down until we find BetterPowerDown, once inside we can choose between activating this tweak or deactivating it. In the Mode option allows us to choose between Classic (6.X Style), iOS 6 shutdown, and Modern (7.1+ Style), the new iOS 7.1 shutdown visual style. In addition, the tweak not only changes the visual appearance between versions of Apple software, but also add Repower option, which allows the user to add on the shutdown screen two sliders, the reset one and the respring one.
BetterPowerDown has been developed by CoolStar, can now be downloaded from Cydia in the repository of BigBoss, it is a paid tweak with a price of 0,99$. More than simply changing the visual aspect, this tweak can be useful by adding the reset slide and the respring slide.
What do you think of BetterPowerDown? Will you buy it?
I don't pay a dollar for this. Cydia is becoming more and more expensive than the AppStore.
In this case also, I never turn off the iPhone. I was going to put it to improve the appearance a little, but it tires me and to pay (even if it is little) for each small adjustment.
there are repos where you can get it for free
