Blutrol, how to use it for your games?

If you have an iCade or a Gametel (which we reviewed a few days ago), surely you have ever come across a game that, due to its controls, should be compatible, but which is not.

As almost always Cydia is the solution: Blutrol is a modification that Allows you to assign touches on the screen to each button of iCade or Gametel or the similar device that you haveYou just have to place the touch of each button on the virtual button that is seen on the screen, making any game with controls on the screen 100% compatible.

Using the PS3 controller

Use the PS3 controller to play on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch is possible thanks to the Jailbreak. We have already seen a similar solution for the wii remote But if we don't have the Nintendo console and we do have the Sony console, you can take advantage of the DualShock 3 to play your favorite games from the App Store.

Remember that the essential requirements are that you have a jailbroken iOS deviceOtherwise, it will be impossible for you to install the necessary tweaks to be able to use the PS3 controller. If you have jailbreak, you must install the tweak blutrol from the BigBoss repository and also download the utility SixAxisPairTool which is available for Windows or Mac.

Steps to follow on our PC or Mac:

• Open the SixAxisPairTool application that we have previously downloaded and installed.
• Connect the iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad and the PS3 controller to two free USB ports on your computer
• Once they have been detected by the application, we pair them so that they are both visible to each other.

The next thing we have to do is use the Blutrol tweak to create patterns with which to play each game. Keep in mind that playing Angry Birds with the PS3 controller is not a viable option, however, it is perfect for platform games, driving and genres in which there are differentiated buttons. With these simple steps we will be able to use the PS3 controller to play on any iOS device. Remember that iOS 7 will bring official support for joysticks, therefore, in the future we will have a much more complete solution and without the need to have the jailbreak to enjoy physical controls.

Is it compatible with iOS 11?

We do not know if Blutrol is compatible with iOS 11 but since the jailbreak is in the doldrums, we very much doubt that it will work correctly with most of the games that now exist in the App Store.
