Thanks to the tweaks available in Cydia we can customize our terminals as we see fit. We can add themes that completely change the interface and the icons of the main applications, we can also modify the access to multitasking, add animated backgrounds, use gestures on the screen so as not to depend on the start and shutdown buttons... but we can also make use of tweaks that allow us to improve our productivity when we spend many hours with the phone in our hands. Today we are talking about a tweak that allows you to change the location of the status bar of our iPhone, going from the top of the screen to the bottom. We are talking about BottomBar.

The status bar is very useful when it comes to offering us information related to the connections that we have activated on our devices, as well as showing us the battery level, the operator's signal... The status bar it is located at the top of the screen since it is the closest access to the view that we have when we use any device (all mobile operating systems place it in the same place). But if you have ever wondered if there is the possibility of changing the position at the bottom of the screen, the answer is yes.

As the name indicates, BottomBar allows us to move the status bar to the bottom of the screen, which leaves a blank space at the top, where it is usually found. Once we have installed the tweak, the only option that allows us to configure is that this function is active or not. This tweak only works when we are in the springboard or in an application container folder. Once we run a game or application, if we receive any notification, it will appear from the top of the screen.

This tweak is available for its download completely free of charge via Lydia and is compatible with iOS 9.3.3 and earlier.
