ByeByeHUD, another way to show the volume control on our iPhone (tweak)

When we are enjoying our favorite game or a movie, if we want to lower or raise the volume, the volume HUD appears in the middle of the screen, occupying most of it and preventing us from enjoying the game or video without having to pause it. or if. At the moment it seems that Apple does not intend to change this HUD, but at least it has empowered developers to adapt it to their applications. The first one to do it was YouTube, by placing the volume control at the top of the screen, so that it does not interfere with the video we are playing.

But if you want all the applications to show us the same interface when showing the volume control, and we also enjoy the jailbreak, we can make use of the ByeByeHUD tweak, showing us three different alternatives so that we can select the one that best suits our needs. Like YouTube, the volume control It goes to be located at the top, in the status bar of our device.

Within the ByeByeHUB configuration options, as I mentioned above, we found three options to configure how we want the volume control to be displayed:

  • minimal view: It shows us a percentage in the upper left part of the status bar, right where the Wifi or 3G / 4G signal of our device is shown.
  • BarView: The volume level is shown in the form of a bar, located in the entire status bar, above all the elements that are usually displayed.
  • SliderView: The entire status bar becomes the level that shows us the volume of our device.

ByeByeHUD is available for download for free via the BigBoss repo and it is compatible with jailbroken devices running iOS 8, iOS 9, or iOS 10.
