Apple's Carpool Karaoke will have different presenters

The new season of Carpool Karaoke, which will come from Apple very soon, will feature a different presenter each program according to the new details about the show that have been made public through Variety. Based on the space that James Corden hosted within the Late Late Show program, the Apple version will have more content of the talk show type and with presenters that will change.

Carpool Karaoke does not yet have a release date, but it will consist of sixteen half-hour episodes that will air through Apple Music and perhaps iTunes as well. Apple bought the rights to this space, whose executive producers were Eric Pankowsky, Ben Winston and James Corden since July 2016.

In this regard, it has been heard on The Late Show that it would be "silly" to try to imitate or reproduce the same Corden format because it is extremely "special and unique." Instead, Corden says the pairings will include unusual spaces such as Billy Eichner and Metallica along with other more traditional musical mixes such as Alicia Keys and Ariana Grande.

"We are very excited about the pairings we are planning to do," Corden said. There will be couples that include more traditional musical options like John Legend and Alicia Keys or Seth MacFarlane and Ariana Grande, but also the more risky bizarre decisions like Billy Eichner mixes in the passenger seat, surrounded by the band Metallica, or the former star. NFL and talk show host Michael Strahan and NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon.

The producer trio say the idea of going off the beaten path in traditional music pairings came from "high demand" from non-musical stars who wanted to appear on Corden's show. “Many people have been contacting us; big movie stars, for example, who make us think like that's not really for us… but now with Apple Music it's perfect. "

Apple is using original television programming to promote its growing business. In addition to Carpool Karaoke, Apple is also working on "Vital Signs," a drama starring Dr. Dre, and "Planet of Apps," a television show focused on the App Store.
