The launch of the 12,9-inch iPad Pro was a renewal of what Apple understood the iPad until now. This 12,9-inch model was the first to hit the market and it also did so with four speakers, 4 GB of RAM ... which made it a true potential replacement for a computer in many homes. But this launch was also focused on the world of work thanks to the possibility offered by the Apple Pencil, that expensive accessory that allows us to draw on the iPad screen as if we were experts in addition to, obviously, write as if it were a sheet.
The battery of the Apple Pencil is thought so that can be quickly charged without having to wait for long periods of time. Its charging system is a bit uncomfortable since it connects directly to the Lightning connection of the device through the integrated connector, something that depending on the position in which we have it, can become a problem especially if we pass by and we drag after our step.
Given that The Apple Pencil does not have any type of LED that can show us the battery level, Apple has chosen to use the same system as with the Apple Watch. Like the Apple Watch and any other bluetooth device connected to the iPhone or iPad, in order to check the battery of our device, we just have to go around the notification center to check, both the battery level of the iPad and that of the Apple Pencil.
If we display the notification center, we can see inside the Battery section, we can check how se shows the battery percentage of both the iPad Pro and the Apple Pencil. As we can see, with the arrival of iOS 10 the way notifications are presented has changed compared to iOS 9, but the information remains the same.
