The jailbreak is a customization tool that allows us not only to aesthetically modify the interface of our device, without also allowing us to make adjustments in the operation of the different functions that iOS offers us. Low Power Mode is a function, which as we all know, reduces the system's capabilities to save battery by reducing the brightness, disabling background application updates, reducing the processor speed. Natively, Apple establishes that this Low Power Mode starts when we reach 20% battery. Depending on the battery consumption of our iPhone, it is likely that we may be interested in activating that percentage earlier than necessary, if we want to be able to reach home locatable.
Apple has established that Low Power Mode is activated 20% without being able to modify it, but fortunately for jailbreak users, a new tweak called Low Power Modder has just arrived at Cydia. This tweak allows us to modify the battery percentage in which we want this low consumption mode to be activatedor, forgetting the 20%, which in most cases does not allow us to reach a charger on time.
Thanks to Low Power Modder we can configure our iPhone so that the low consumption mode is put into operation, for example at 50%. Within the configuration options, we only find the percentage in which we want the saving mode to be activated, the option to activate and deactivate it and the option to deactivate the Low Power Mode so that it is deactivated when we are charging the device.
This tweak is available for free download through the BigBoss repo completely free of charge and It is only compatible with the iPhone with iOS 10, Since neither iPad nor iPod touch has Low Power Mode.
