Lately we are showing you quite a few Cydia tweaks with which you can customize almost anything on iOS 7. But, which tweaks are compatible with iOS 7? In Actualidad iPad we have created a special document (with Google Docs) where we make a compilation of all the tweaks that we have analyzed and are compatible with iOS 7. Today, we are going to meet ClearFolders, a Cydia tweak that will allow us to make the gray background of the iOS 7 folders now transparent. Depending on what wallpaper you have, you will like the effect more or less. After the jump all the information of ClearFolders.
Making the background of folders transparent with ClearFolders
The first thing we have to do is download ClearFolders from Cydia, as we do with any tweak that we want to install. This time, ClearFolders is in the repo of modmyi.com (installed by default). Once the tweak is downloaded, you will have to respring your iPad so that ClearFolders is configured correctly.
Immediately, when iPad comes to itself, you will be able to see the changes that ClearFolders has made in our folders. As you can see in the image above, the folders no longer have that space gray background that iOS 7 has by default, but they no longer have any background. This effect can be very nice on some wallpapers with gradients or light colors; However, if we have dark colors, the effect provided by ClearFolders will be almost imperceptible since we will think that we have a black background.
Still, I recommend that you install ClearFolders if you want to discover new tweaks that improve the design of iOS 7 that is installed on your iPad.
