Clips officially launches today for iOS devices

Apple presented Clips on March 21, a new application with which any user can create expressive videos on iPhone and iPad in a fast and fun way. The application has been officially launched today and the company itself has already warned that this application would be available in the month of April. Clips that allows the user to combine video clips, photos and music in videos to share them through Messages, on Instagram, Facebook and other social networks, is available from today.

Those from Cupertino want to enter fully into the fight for these types of applications and although personally I am not a user of these, I am clear that Snapchat and now Instagram or Facebook stories are the ones that are being used the most, so it will be difficult for Clips to succeed, although a gap can be made between the existing ones. These were the statements of Susan Prescott, Vice President of Product Marketing, Apple Apps in the presentation of the application:

Clips gives iPhone and iPad users a new way to express themselves through video, and it's incredibly easy to use. With the effects, filters, and amazing new Overlay Captions we've designed for Clips, anyone can create great, easy-to-share videos with just a few taps.

Available from now

Clips is now available for download totally free on the App Store and it's compatible with iPhone 5s and later, the new 9,7-inch iPad, all iPad Air and iPad Pro models, iPad mini 2 and later, and the sixth-generation iPod touch. All devices must have iOS 10.3 installed.
