Jailbreak users have the ability to customize their devices in a way that so far Apple does not allow us, although in the latest versions of iOS, more and more tweaks that Apple is integrating into its operating system. But even so, there are still many tweaks that Apple could integrate to allow iOS users to customize our devices to our liking without having to resort to the options offered by the company. Today we are talking about the Tinc tweak, a tweak that allows us to modify the background color of both the Control Center and the Notification Center.
Currently the background color that is displayed in both the Control Center and the Notification Center comes from the predominant color on the wallpaper that we are using at the moment in a blurred way. Tinc allows us to configure our device so that the background color that is displayed changes every time that we access both Centers. We can also choose to establish that it is only the Notification Center that modifies the background color each time we access it.
When selecting the background color we have to play with the RGB range (Red, Green, Blue) by sliding the control to find the perfect combination. We can also adjust the level of blur that we want to set for the background. This tweak hardly affects the performance of the device since it only focuses on changing the colors of the interface without affecting the general operation of the system at any time. Being a recently created tweak, Tinc is only available for devices with iOS 10. Tinc is available in the Cydia application store within the BigBoss repository completely free of charge.
