Deliveries adds support for Siri Shortcuts

delivery app

Deliveries, one of the best applications to follow the status of our shipments, has been updated to version 8.3 to include as a great novelty of the version, compatibility with Siri shortcuts.

Now we can ask Siri, for example, when our next shipment will arrive thanks to the new options that iOS 12 has brought to Siri.

To activate Siri shortcuts for Deliveries, We will have to go to the menu of your app and, there, to Siri shortcuts. It will show us different shortcut options. To add an order, to scan a package, to know all your orders and, the most interesting, to know when our next order will arrive.

Remember that to use Siri shortcuts we must invoke Siri (with "Hey Siri" or by pressing and holding the Home or Lock button) and then say the phrase set for each shortcut. For example, "Hey Siri, when will my order arrive?" or "Hey Siri, what requests do I have?"

If you did not know Deliveries, it is one of the best apps to track shipments. One of the fastest to update and most accurate, Its great drawback lies in the few transport companies that it supports compared to other apps.

Although it says that it lets us add them manually, the truth is that compatibility is better in apps that accept them natively. For example, Although Deliveries has Amazon among its compatibilities, SEUR and Correos are not on the list, something that in Spain suffers because they are one of the most used companies for shipments.

Two options, Correos and SEUR, which if we find, for example, in Parcel, another very popular shipment tracking app. But that, despite being also compatible with Siri shortcuts, it does not have this ability to tell us the status of the orders. In your case, Parcel allows you to add shipments and scan orders from Siri shortcuts.
