One of the people in charge of the development of this application, Mat Priestley, has published a video on his Twitter account in which we can see a preview of the new Affinity Designer app, an application for illustrators and designers that will arrive at some point in the year.

In the video we can see how Matt Priestley shows us how the application works and the creation possibilities it offers us. But what is striking is that at no time does he use the Apple Pencil, we do not know whether to show that we can use the application without this expensive accessory, or because he did not have it on hand, but presumably will offer compatibility with the Apple Pencil.
The specific launch date of this application is not yet clear, but seeing the state in which the application is it shouldn't be long until it hits the App Store and become the second developer app in the Apple app store.
