When we create an account for the first time at Apple, we must bear in mind that the email that we are going to use will be the center of our entire Apple universe. Thanks to that ID we can manage any incident with our device as well as, of course, blocking access to it in case it is stolen.
When we have been using Apple devices for a few years, and if we still have them, Apple will keep all the devices associated with our account. If this is our case, through the Apple Technical Support page we can access all the information related to them, in this way we avoid having to save papers and invoices to consult in case of incident with our terminal.
Within My Support Profile, we can manage all devices associated with our Apple ID, be it iPhone, Mac, iPad, Apple Watch, iPod… But we can also request technical support from Apple in addition to updating our contact information. In this section we can also add more products if we have recently bought them or if they do not appear in the list. To register them, we just have to add the serial number of the device and then the website will offer us all the information related to it.
Once the list of devices associated with our account is displayed, we can click on each of them to see the date it was activated, the warranty period, the warranty coverage and the conditions of the technical support that we can use at that time. We can also add a nickname to each of the devices, very useful for example if we have several children and each one uses a different iPad. If we get rid of any of them, we also have the option to delete them so as not to create confusion in the future.
