Difference between User, Hacker and Developer in Cydia

The first time you access Cydia it asks you Are you a user, hacker or developer? You never know what to choose the first time.

The difference is very simple, they are simple filters that show more or less things, the user filter is the most restrictive, it only shows applications, modifications and themes; the developer filter doesn't filter anything, it shows dependencies with programs like MobileSubstrate and things you probably shouldn't touch if you don't know what you're doing.

Still We recommend you select the latter, since it will be the only one that lets you see everything, And in this way, if ever in a tutorial we tell you to change, delete or install something, you will have no problem finding it.

To change it you just have to go to the option "Manage" of those that appear in the bottom bar and press Settings, located in the upper left corner.
