SBSetting is one of the applications by which many users Jailbreak their iPhone, but can you imagine being able to perform the same functions with an existing application in the AppStore? Thanks to Icon Project this is possible.
This application does not offer the immediacy of SBSettings but it allows us, through an icon located on the springboard, to deactivate or activate phone functions such as WI-FI, 3G, Bluetooth, airplane mode ... Do you want to know how? Follow this tutorial:
- Download the Icon Project app from the App Store:
- Open the application and select the type of shortcut you want to create. In our case, we will select the option «URL (Homepage)». In the text field at the bottom we will have to insert the appropriate command for the action we want to perform.
- Design your icon, there are many possibilities.
- Click on the «Create» button to get to the last step of this simple tutorial.
- Now a web page will appear in which it shows us the icon and offers us the option of adding it to the springboard.

What am I doing wrong ???
Make sure you respect upper and lower case. All the best
Thanks for the answer, Nacho.
I actually do a copy / paste of the commands posted here, I have even used the command as written in the screenshot illustrating the article. And nothing, there is no way. Keep asking for "a valid URL".
Well, I don't know where the fault can be. It's very weird. I have tested it on the 4S with iOS 5 and without problem. If I enter the commands directly in Safari it also executes them perfectly.

I see where the issue is!
I don't have iOS 5. I'm still using the previous iOS. It seems that in older iOS, safari does not recognize the commands.
Thanks for your help!!!!
A real post bomb. Will this application have been sneaked into Apple in the AppStore and will it be eliminated shortly or are we facing a change in the acceptance policy of Official Utilities?
.
I said, it seems like a bomb.
.
d:
very useful ... I have tried it and it works like a charm ... !!!
I see it more outside than inside the appstore, but it's still cool 😛
Very sad that this is in the AppStore and in cydia and does not come standard on iOS.
He lacks many, many improvements and that they are arriving late to the point of this man who is charging for his work, which seems logical to me.
Normal that there is cydia, Apple's iOS needs a bit of common sense and a mixture of user needs and less mental jerks for when they release a novelty.
excellent this post thank you very much it works 100%
Well, what do you want me to tell you ..., it's a "fix" that is not at all close to the quick shortcuts of my dear SbSettings ... Also, where do I get the drawings of the Bluetooth, Wifi, etc icons? I can't find them !!!
Anyway, application purchased and deleted ... 🙁
Those icons are images from your photo library saved from the internet
A popular method of adding shortcuts linked to a URL… ..
I think it's great!!!!!! Those of us who don't want to jailbreak are great!
Jotaká, go to Safari, put Icon Wifi, Icon Bluetooth …… and you keep them and it is luxurious.
Thank you very much for the contribution.
Look, I liked that !!! Thanks a lot!!! 🙂
Do you know how to do direct access to sharing the internet?
At the informational level ...
When reading the post I remembered another application that did something similar and was free: iFavorite Basic. This application that I downloaded a long time ago was used to create custom icons.
It has occurred to me to enter the commands you indicate although I have not managed to make it work. Apparently when they are entered in url format, it includes "http: // ..." in front of them, so the command is no longer recognized and does not work, too bad, it was a free alternative to do the same.
I have tried this one that you comment and if it works well. Anyway, it gives the feeling that both this application and the other what they do is not create direct functions but shortcuts to web pages, and it is those intermediate pages (that hardly have time to see them) that when opened in Safari executes the different commands (functions, calls, sms ...), is that so?
I do not know how long it will take Apple to limit these types of functions, I do not think they like that it is so open. Another form of control that I suppose you can look for is to limit what Safari executes (if it works as I have described).
Do you know the command to go to information?
I don't know if those are all the available commands or there are more, but one that I miss is access to "Internet Sharing".
For those of you who are not going to download Anicons from Cydia, that's what I use.
For those who want to share the Internet:
prefs: root = Personal_Hotspot
And another for call forwarding:
prefs: root = Phone = Call_Forwarding
According to Itunes it works since IOS 3.1, however, in IOS 4.3.3. They do not work because Safari does not recognize them, do you know a solution?
Hello good!! Does anyone know the shortcut for «SIM APPS ??
I have tried with:
prefs: root = Phone & path = SIM_APPLICATIONS and there is no way ...
Thank you!
Is there any way to indicate in the command the direct activation of a functionality? What would be great would be a button to switch wifi or airplanemode from on to off, not a shortcut
this is false ... the program tells you that it is an incorrect URL when entering the command as the tutorial says ...
i have the same wrong url problem what should i do?
