How many applications will there be to manage documents? Dozens, but how many really fulfill their mission well? Few, very few, and most of them, paying. Right now I cannot think of a free application that meets at least half of what is asked of an application of this type, until now. Because Readdle just updated (rather revamped) Documents, and it's great and free. A true marvels of application that is at the level of others, such as goodreader, with a cleaner interface, and above, I insist, free.
What would an application of this type be without being able to connect to cloud storage systems? Well Documents is compatible with quite a few, some I had never heard of before. And not only can you see its content, but you can download it, and even more, you can upload content to your account from the application itself.
Whatever files you see from your cloud account will be downloaded to the "Downloads" folder. Those files you can handle as you wish: copy them, move them, delete them, upload them to another account, open them from another application (Pages, Numbers ...)
You can even upload them to iCloud, to access them from any other device connected to the same iCloud account, more comfortable, impossible.
Although you cannot edit, yes you can make annotations in the documents, or look up words. Highlighting with different colors, underlining or striking out are very useful functions when reading documents on your device and that you can use in Documents.
The application also has a Web navigator, from which you can access the pages you like the most, download content and view it from the device itself.
Also, when you download it, you can choose where to do it and rename it. You can even protect certain content with a password, something that very few applications of this style allow.
And it not only allows you to view documents, because you can also view videos and listen to audio files. The application also integrates with Mail, and any file sent to you can be opened in Documents using the "Open in" option. If you have not been convinced, try it because it is free, you will not regret it.

It is in English. Spanish is the second most spoken language. Let's see if, once and for all, they are convinced that it would be good to translate the programs ...
If I put a document in iCloud from the application ... how do I access it from other devices if there is only an iPad version? Thanks
As I downloaded my documents from iCloud with this application, someone knows if my mail is drcajias@gmail.com
