Doppler is updated and iTunes no longer necessary

Doppler app music offline iPhone

The truth is that being able to control your music stored on the iPhone without having to go through iTunes is a success. We already talked about Doppler a few months ago and, although there were still some features to be added, the developer Edward Wellbrook assured that in future versions there would be surprises. And these already have arrived in the latest version Doppler 1.1.

What can we expect in this new version? Well for example: edit the playlists from the application; to be able to import files to our iPhone with extensions MP3, FLAC, WAV, etc. And power import files from the "Files" application without having to go through iTunes.

Not only will you be able to export files from our file manager that appeared with iOS 11, but you can also continue using iTunes or AirDrop. It's more, we can tell you that you can pass files to Doppler from a pendrive.

We have used in this case a pendrive from Transcend, ideal for managing our images and videos quickly. How? Well, selecting the files that interest us from inside the USB memory and copying. In the menu that will also appear the option to copy will appear. We will transfer all the material to the Doppler folder. In this case we must also take into account that to manage this Transcend memory we need to download a app owner who will facilitate our work. Although we will talk about this USB memory in another article since it has been a brilliant alternative to move heavy files from one place to another.

AirDrop Doppler Music App

Now, the most practical solution, perhaps, is to use AirDrop. From your Mac, through the «Finder», mark all the tracks you want to import. Once you have the list ready, press the "Share" button –in the attached images you can see where it is–, choose the AirDrop option and send all the material to your iPhone. Accept the files through the mobile prompt and choose to open all files with Doppler. Everything is that simple. In other words, a way to be able to manage your music library with a little more independence.

Once using Doppler on your iPhone, of course –and the magnitude of your library will enter here–, you will be able to search for artists, albums or specific tracks in order to reach your preferences sooner. It is also interesting to know that is compatible with the use of AirPods, HomePod or any Bluetooth audio device. Now, you should also know that Doppler is not a free app. Its price is $4,99.
